Letterpress is not dead. At least not to me. Feeling the letters, arranging them, seeing what kerning actually means, the little mistakes that make every print unique. That’s what makes letterpress so special. And as a designer it’s a great way to get some time off the computer and keep this art alive.

After a workshop in January 2017 at the Offizin Haag-Drugulin in Dresden, my friend and I started to develop a great interest and affinity for letterpress. Since then we have printed our own ideas and little projects in the letterpress workshop of the MD.H University. It varies from postcards, big posters, business cards to wine labels or christmas cards.
